The Township Strategic Plan was adopted in August 2023. The plan was formulated with the assistance of community feedback.

Notice of Public Meeting - Building Code Act
It is the intention of the Township of Southwold under Section 7 of the Building Code Act to update the building permit fees. The fees will take effect on May 1st, 2025.
Any person upon request may receive the following information at no cost:
i) An estimated cost of administrating and enforcing the Building Code Act by the principal authority
ii) A copy of the new fees schedule
iii) The rational for imposing or changing the fees.
