Kennel Licences

Residents in the Township of Southwold who wish to operate a kennel must follow the requirements that have been put in place.

The fee for kennel licence is $85.00 per calendar year.

Dog owners may be permitted to have more than three (3) dogs, if they are eligible for a kennel licence. Generally, a kennel licence will only be issued within a rural area, subject to compliance with the applicable zoning by-law. Please contact our Planner for further guidance. The kennel application can be completed and submitted to the Township office, once a pre-consultation of your property address has taken place.
