Commissioner of Oaths Service

The Township of Southwold has three Commissioners of Oaths. They can witness your signature on legal documents such as transfer of vehicle ownership or proof of residency. We do not have a notary public in the office. You will have to contact a Lawyer to have a document notarized.

We require appointments to have documents commissioned.

What you need

You will need to bring with you a valid photo identification that shows your full name, signature and address.

We do not charge a fee for this service.
