Third party advertisers are individuals, corporations, or trade unions that choose to spend money on advertising to support or oppose a candidate, or to support or oppose a question on the ballot during a municipal election. Anyone wishing to act as a third party advertiser must register with the municipal clerk and follow the rules set out in the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, including requirements related to campaign spending, advertising content, and financial reporting.

To register as a Third-Party Advertiser you must file Form 7 with the Municipal Clerk.
