The Township of Southwold has now declared the December 22, 2022, Declaration of a Significant Weather event ended. The municipality will now return to addressing snow and ice accumulation on roadways in accordance with the Minimum Maintenance Standards as set out in O Reg. 239/02.

The Township of Southwold has declared a significant weather event, due to high winds, heavy snowfall, and blizzard conditions as defined within the O. Reg. 239/02 Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways.
