 Congratulations to Michelle Lackey and Joe McKinnon receipients of the Distinguished Citizen Award for 2017.  The Township would like to thank Michelle and Joe for all the work they have done with Shedden Soccer over the years.

 

Congratulations to the Shedden Agricultural Society, receipients of the Volunteer Service Award for 2017. Receiving the award with Mayor Jones are from  left to right, Shirley Longhurst, Don Miller, Carl Smith, Mayor Jones, Wilma Williams and Paul Berdan. The Township would like to thank the Ag Society for all their hard work with the Shedden Fair. 

Southwold was awarded a PERFECT number of blooms for 2017 Communities in Bloom;5 BLOOMS out of 5, with a special mention for heritage!... To top it off, Southwold also was the winner of 2 criteria awards: Urban Forestry & Trails and Youth Participation.
